Frequently asked questions.
Do you accept insurance?
I am in-network with BCBS, United Healthcare, and Harvard Pilgrim/Tufts.
If using insurance, please call the phone number on the back of your benefits card to confirm coverage, applicable copays and deductible costs.
Why do people go to therapy?
People come to therapy for many reasons. Some are navigating big life transitions, managing anxiety,, coping with grief, or learning how to regulate emotions. Others come to better understand themselves, improve relationships, or build self-esteem.
I’ve never been to therapy, what should I expect?
In the first few sessions, I’ll spend time getting to know you, your background, and what you hope to gain from therapy. Sessions will vary depending on your goals, some will be more structured, while others are open-ended. I also check in periodically to ensure we’re aligned and making progress toward what matters most to you.
How do I schedule a session?
First, you’ll reach out via the contact information below or through the contact request form. From there, we’ll schedule a brief phone consultation to discuss your needs and see if we’re a good fit. If we decide to move forward, we’ll schedule your first therapy appointment together!
What if I don't want to use my insurance?
Some clients choose not to use insurance and instead pay privately for sessions. Please see below for my self-pay rates:
Intake session: $145 / Weekly Session: $130
What should I do if I’m in crisis or need immediate support?
I do not provide emergency or crisis services. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, are in danger, or need immediate support, please call or text 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), call 911, or go to your nearest emergency room.
